The area offers fantastic walking and cycle routes as well as an osprey viewpoint. Bassenthwaite is also home to The Lake District Wildlife Park providing a fun day out. The popular town of Keswick is 14 miles away and can be reached by car in about 20 minutes. Whinlatter Forest Park is well-loved by walkers and cyclists or further down the valley Buttermere has stunning panoramic scenery. This gem of a property is ideal for your next Cumbrian getaway.
