Church View offers a cosy retreat for couples looking to enjoy the delights of the Western Lakes.
Church view is conveniently located just moments from Cockermouth town centre.
It has an open plan living/dining/kitchen on the ground floor, and upstairs there is a lovely bedroom with a kingsize bed, along with a bathroom. Beautifully furnished, Church View is the perfect little bolt hole to return to after a day exploring the area.
On the north west edge of the Lake District National Park, Cockermouth is a bustling market town with a fantastic range of independent shops, museums, art centre and eating places, and is best known as the birthplace of William Wordsworth. Nearby, you’ll find the beautiful northern fells for walking, Bassenthwaite Lake, with its stunning backdrop of the iconic Skiddaw, and Derwentwater for sailing and Whinlatter for mountain biking. Bassenthwaite is also home to The Lake District Wildlife Park offering a fun day out, and The Lakes Distillery with good food and tasting tours. Or why not head to the coast with sandy beaches and miles of cycle tracks!
