The ground floor boasts a spacious living room with a 65 inch Smart TV and plenty of seating, as well as a large separate dining room. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, and you even have a separate utility and a wet room, both also on the ground floor. The fourth bedroom is on the ground floor and features twin beds.

Thanks to the size of the property and its setting you’ll benefit from plenty of natural daylight from all four sides, creating a light and airy feel. Outside you’ll find spacious gardens with a patio, mature plants and shrubs as well as a couple of ponds and views to the nearby fells. Private parking is available on the driveway. Just a short 10-minute walk takes you to the heart of Penrith’s vibrant town centre.

Penrith has an abundance of pubs serving great food and local cask ales, alongside all manner of eateries from bistros and fine dining to sandwich bars and fast food. The high street has a really good range of shops including the usual brands but also many independent shops for a great shopping experience. If you need to stock up on supplies, a major supermarket is just over a mile away, and you can reach the train station in just 20 minutes on foot, offering easy rail links from the north or south.

Penrith is located on the eastern border of the Lake District National Park. If you like outdoor adventure you’ll love the scenery, walking and cycling routes, lakes and mountains nearby. Ullswater, with its famous steamers offers a great day out. If you have younger children, be sure to visit the Rheged Discovery Centre with children’s activities, outdoor play area and cinema, 4½ miles away. About the local area

Ullswater is the Lake District's second largest lake at nine miles long. Located in the eastern side of Cumbria, it bends and twists its way through dramatic mountain scenery on one side and a gently curving shoreline of green fields and woodland on the other.

Boating centres and marinas nestle unobtrusively on the lake edge, perfect for the water sports enthusiasts, or visitors can relax and enjoy the scenery from one of the steamers that have sailed the lake since 1855.

Many of the Lake District's many walks have their starting point from around Ullswater, including the renowned trek to Helvellyn's summit via Striding Edge. Or for the less energetic there are many low-level walks through beautiful countryside.

Of note is Glenridding which sits on the south western shore and is surrounded by the fells with wonderful scenic views. Pooley Bridge on the northern shore, with its 16th Century Bridge, Lakeland greystone houses and quaint teashops and Patterdale just to the south of Ullswater, cradled by mountains.
