Surrounded by lovely views and delightful features and just a gentle stroll from the local pub and village café, it makes a great base from which to explore this wonderful area. There are a host of activities available nearby, from walking the magnificent fells to archery, abseiling, scrambling, climbing and canyoning. With several adventure centres in the vicinity, you can try all these activities along with cycling, sailing and white-water tubing. For a more relaxing time, you could choose a leisurely cruise across Derwentwater, hire a rowing boat, or simply enjoy Keswick’s lovely town centre.
