This charming property is nestled in the centre of the quiet, picturesque village of Ireby near Caldbeck and Uldale above the superb, highly rated ‘Emily’s Black Lion’ pub offering a range of sumptuous food and drink where guests can take advantage of a 10% discount off their food bill!
If you fancy being more active, the Lake District Fells’ renowned walking and cycling trails are on your doorstep offering both gentle and more challenging endeavours enabling you to take in the abundance of birds and wildlife this place has to offer. The historic, alluring village of Bassenthwaite with its magnificent lake and access to Skiddaw, one of the highest mountains in England, is a 10 minute drive. Emily’s View really is in a beautiful location!
The beach is just 14 miles and supermarket 5 miles. The village is served by a farm shop selling fresh milk and seasonal produce.

While that’s fun for the adults, the kids may prefer a day at the Lake District Wildlife Park, 5 miles away, where they can see over 100 species of exotic animals, everything from Asian Short Clawed Otters to Zebras!
