The bright sun room opens onto the living room where there is a beautiful inglenook fireplace with wood burner, ideal for those cooler evenings, and with a second living room, this large family home has plenty of space for everyone. A particularly favourite room at Oakdale is the large conservatory, which overlooks the garden and is ideal for enjoying breakfast, lunch or dinner whilst watching the wildlife. There are some lovely nature reserves close by and cycle paths are available locally, taking you into the heart of the countryside where you can enjoy the scenery.
Sitting on the fringes of Carlisle itself, Oakdale is the perfect location. Close to the Lake District National Park, the Solway Coast and the world famous Hadrian’s Wall, this really is a great location for outdoor enthusiasts. Carlisle itself is a lovely city where you will find a variety of social, leisure and retail opportunities as well as an impressive cathedral and castle. A trip through the National Park is a day not to be missed, taking in the beauty of the fells and lakes for which the Lake District National Park is so famous.
