Great Corby is a desirable and very pretty little village and has a well-regarded pub and a micro-brewery where you can enjoy some fine ales brewed on site. The village is beautifully placed above the River Eden where an impressive Victorian viaduct spans the river and provides pedestrian access to the nearby village of Wetheral. Courtyard is the perfect location for exploring further afield. Enjoy a visit to Hadrian’s Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Talkin Tarn is also a lovely day out where you can enjoy water sports on the Tarn and enjoy the lovely woodland walks. The delightful little market town of Brampton is close by where there are a mix of shops and restaurants and the Border city of Carlisle where you can enjoy high street shopping or cultural sites. Close to the Lake District National Park, the North Pennines and Scotland your location here at Courtyard is superb.
