This spacious end terraced Lakeland cottage has a lounge with open fire, leather sofas, a large modern kitchen/diner, three good sized bedrooms (one en-suite) and a family shower room. Situated just a minutes walk away from local boutique shops, bistros pubs and restaurants in the centre of Windermere and only a 5 minute walk from the bus and railway station it’s an ideal base if you prefer to explore the delights of the Lake District without the need of a car. However, two parking permits are provided - one is a residents permit which allows parking on nearby streets, the other is a Council permit which allows parking in 36 other car parks in the South Lakes area including Kendal, Grange-over-Sands, Kirkby Lonsdale, Ambleside and Grasmere. The nearest car park is only 200 metres away from Kokopelli, a definite plus during peak periods. The provision of high quality linens and soft furnishings provides you with a relaxing and comfortable home from home with the odd touch of luxury to return to after a day out exploring the lakes. There is a welcome pack is provided with Farrer’s Lakeland special tea, coffee pods for the Nespresso machine and biscuits, dishwasher tablets etc, plus complimentary Pure Lakes luxury toiletries (handmade with only the finest, high quality natural ingredients and packaged minimally using environmentally friendly packaging) in the bathrooms.
