There are three welcoming bedrooms; the master bedroom enjoys views over Lakeland rooftops towards the hills Bannerrigg, Orrest Head and towards the mountains of the National Park where the peaks of the Langdale Valley are prominent (weather permitting!). A short drive will take you to the neighbouring villages of Ambleside and Grasmere, which are set in the heart of Wordsworth Country, or perhaps enjoy a ferry trip across the lake. Take one of the many country walks straight from the doorstep of Bannerrigg Vie; Orrest Head and School Knot are walks lasting 1-2 hours, both with very rewarding views of Lake Windermere and the mountains of the National Park. Or explore central Lakeland by car. There is a corner shop on the corner of Limethwaite Road with pubs and shops within a 5-minute walk. Shop, pub and restaurants 100 yards.
