Sunnyhill is an 18th century detached cottage in the delightful village of Brigsteer and has all the ingredients for a super holiday within the National Park. Extensive views can be enjoyed from most rooms, (even from the kitchen sink!) out over the Lyth Valley and the Langdales in the distance. There are a large number of traditional country inn’s serving excellent ales and bar meals and within walking distance there is a multi award winning pub. Sunnyhill has been improved without any loss of character and is a lovely home with feature beams throughout and a super wood burning stove to welcome you at the end of the day. Careful thought has been given to provide furnishings and linens to continue the cottage theme throughout and to accommodate the original features of this old house; the floors gently sloping in places.

Utility room: With useful sink, washer/dryer and plenty of space for storing outdoor gear.
Kitchen/diner: With breakfast bar splitting the two areas. The kitchen has a super electric range cooker with double oven, 5-ring induction hobs, fridge/freezer, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. i-Pod dock and CD/radio in the dining area.
Lounge: With wood burning stove (initial supply of logs provided), Sky Plus TV and DVD. Small library with a selection of books, DVDs, and music CDs.

Extensive tiered gardens to the front of the house with three separate seating areas on terraces with garden furniture provided on each, from where to take in the stunning views. Please note the top tier of the garden is enclosed. BBQ provided. Phone available for incoming calls, outgoing emergency calls only. Private parking available for up to three cars at the roadside but do be aware that the access to the cottage is up through the tiered gardens and is quite steep in places.
