Located in the small hamlet of Gawthwaite within the stunning Lake District National Park, this spacious, charming, semi-detached cottage dates back to the mid 1600s and has been sympathetically and thoughtfully restored to create a truly beautiful holiday home. Downstairs is a bright and welcoming living room with an open fire, perfect for those colder winter evenings. To the rear of the property is a superb dining kitchen and separate utility area with a cloakroom and toilet. Designed with walkers in mind, the utility area has plenty of space for muddy coats and boots, as well as providing laundry and additional fridge and freezer facilities. Upstairs are two beautifully presented bedrooms, one of which benefits from a large en-suite which has a freestanding bath, separate shower cubicle and vanity unit with twin basins. The other bedroom is served by the family bathroom. The cottage also benefits from off-road parking, and to the rear there is a delightful terraced garden with two separate patio areas and a summerhouse which enables you to enjoy the garden whatever the weather.
