It’s hard to get a more centrally located holiday home in Grange-over-Sands, situated on the main street you are within walking distance to everything the town has to offer, including the magnificent promenade. This apartment is in the old Grange Cinema building, giving this accommodation a quirky layout. As you walk up the steps into the holiday home there is an open plan living and dining area and large hallway. The master bedroom is just off the living room and towards the back of the property is the second bedroom with bunk beds. There are some stairs up to the kitchen and there is a bathroom with shower and toilet, which is off the kitchen.
Grange-over-Sands is a traditional, seaside Victorian town that offers plenty for you to see and do; there are an abundance of restaurants, individual cafés and boutique shops to explore and enjoy. Take a walk down the promenade and relish in the views looking right over to Morecambe Bay. There is a fantastic golf range close by, a local train station and many public walking routes around. Heading out of Grange, Cartmel is only 2 miles down the road, famous for its horse racing weekends (they are hosted four times a year) and also for its sticky toffee pudding, this quirky village is definitely worth a visit. Cartmel also offers two Michelin star restaurants for you to enjoy, be sure to book!. Newby Bridge, home to the Lakes Aquarium, Windermere Lake Cruises and the Haverthwaite steam train, is just 7 miles down the road. Known as the gateway into the lakes you can easily access many popular towns around Cumbria including Ulverston, Ambleside, Coniston, Bowness-on-Windermere and Windermere. Beach ¾ mile. Shop 100 yards, pub ½ mile and restaurant 200 yards.
