Occupying an elevated position in a quiet residential area just a few hundred yards from all of the town’s amenities, and accessed via a private road, this stunning detached home offers spacious and beautifully presented accommodation with all the modern comforts that one could possibly want.
Built into the hillside, the main entrance to the house is via a bright and spacious hallway with a bespoke oak and glass staircase which leads up to the first floor bedroom. Built under the eaves with large Velux windows and built-in window seat, this comfortable bedroom suite is incredibly light and airy. It also has its own fantastic en-suite shower room and a separate seating area, ideal for a quiet read away from the rest of the party.
Back down on the ground floor there is a modern and well equipped kitchen/dining room and a large elegantly styled living room with feature fireplace and glass doors that run the full width of the room. The patio doors lead out onto a large glass fronted balcony from which you can enjoy views over the terraced garden which can be accessed via an external staircase from the balcony. There are a further three bedrooms on the ground floor. One of these has its own en-suite shower room and the other two share a gorgeous family bathroom. About the local area

Bowness-on-Windermere is one of the most popular locations in the Lake District. Situated midway down Lake Windermere, a long promenade skirts the lake with views over a busy harbour where pleasure cruisers arrive and depart taking visitors up and down the lake.

The town has a vibrant, bustling atmosphere, especially in the summer months and a superb lakeside setting with lovely views across and down the lake. A car ferry runs to the far side of the lake taking visitors to Sawrey and Hawkshead or you can take a trip on one of the steamers north to Ambleside or south to Lakeside.

There is plenty to see and do including the Beatrix Potter Exhibition and Steamboat Museum, as well as an 18 hole `pitch and put' and sailing marinas. Bowness provides a good selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants as well as a wide range of shops, all within easy reach.
