This award winning Roman Museum is on a brilliant site home to a Roman fort from the time period of the first Century AD, which was then rebuilt along with Hadrian’s Wall. The museum is set high on the cliffs overlooking the Solway Firth and contains a large collection of artefacts which were started by the Senhouse family in the 1570s.
