The award winning Kirkstile Inn is within 10 minutes walking distance where Wi-fi is available and is renowned for excellent home cooked food and its own brewery. Crummock Water and Buttermere are both nearby and the extensive Cumbrian coast is only a 20 minute drive away.
The property has been renovated to be as eco friendly as possible. It is fully double glazed and insulated. Hot water and heating are primarily by solar panels and air to air heat pump, with oil boiler and electricity as a back up
