The sand and shingle beach has stunning views across the Solway to Scotland and is ideal for dog walking, or just relax and let the children play in the sand and paddle in the water. The Victorian seaside town of Silloth is a 10 min drive away. Maryport is a 15 min drive with attractions for all the family including Lake District Coast Aquarium and ‘The Wave’ visitor centre. There are several golf courses within a few miles and the Lake District National Park is a half hour drive.
