Description

Shepherd's Cottage a single storey barn conversion, is set on a working farm just outside the picturesque village of Hawkshead.  The cottage is surrounded by 'the real outdoors', with sheep grazing in the adjacent fields, which draw your eye out over the dotted landscape to the fabulous, uninterrupted vies of Esthwaite Water.  Footpaths from the door lead along a woodland path through quiet countryside to nearby Hawkshead, with its host of specialist shops and a good selection of places to eat and drink.

Shepherd's Cottage is furnished in a homely, traditional style, with coordinating fabrics and delightful personal touches.  The owners provide a 'Welcome Tray' for their guests, to include a pint of milk for that important cuppa upon arrival, particularly refreshing after a long journey.
