Description
Highside Cottage is a converted barn attached to the owner's 17th Century farmhouse, situated  in Embleton, halfway up Ling Fell at the end of a winding, single track private road. Enjoying 2 acres of grounds and surrounded by open countryside, the property has the advantage of many footpaths close by, including one of Alfred Wainwright's walks, which passes the cottage. Famous beauty spots, such as Derwentwater, Loweswater, Buttermere and the Borrowdale Valley are close by, as are the towns of Keswick and Cockermouth.
