Description
Walkers of the Pennine Way will be familiar with the pretty village of Dufton and the Stag Inn at the heart of the village.  Stag Cottage adjoins the Inn and both are owned by the same family.  The delightful sandstone cottage was refurbished in 2006 with modern furnishings which compliment the features of this converted stable.  The Inn itself is a traditional pub which dates back to the turn of the 18th century, it is a Free House serving real ale with a reputation for good food, you can choose from the pub menu or a la carte, it also has the benefit of a beer garden.  Dufton lies in the Eden Valley on the Western edge of the Pennine Hills, with an abundance of walks and cycle rides from the doorstep.  The Lake District National Park is within 30 minutes drive and the Eden Valley is renowned for the fishing and peace and tranquillity.  A five minute drive will take you into the historic market town of Appleby where you will find more amenities, including shops, restaurants and pubs.

Heated by Oil central heating, the accommodation comprises:

Lounge/diner: With colour TV, DVD, and CD radio.

Kitchen: With electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge and microwave.

First Floor

Bedroom 1: With double bed.

Bedroom 2: With twin beds.

Bathroom: With shower over bath, W.C. and wash basin.

Facilities
All fuel, bed linen, towels and a welcome 'breakfast pack' available for £.  No cot available as there is not enough room in bedroom.
Miscellaneous

Outside: Lawned garden looking towards the Pennine Hills with seating.  Ample parking.

Laundry facilities are available for a small charge.

A refundable damage deposit of £100 is payable one week prior to arrival
