Description
Situated in 'old Ambleside' this early 18thC cottage apartment is just a 100  yard stroll to the main area of this popular village, with its many shops, pubs and restaurants.  The apartment is all on one level ad just five steps up from a small sunny garden with patio and seating - perfect for morning coffees or evening drinks.  Up to the minute facilities are offered in a traditional style, with lots of home comforts, including bath sheets large enough to wrap around and luxurious goose down duvets and pillows on all beds, with non allergenic alternatives if required.  There are many easy fell walks from the cottage.  Amblers Rest is under the same ownership as Gable End and Low & High White Stones (100 yards away - each a romantic hideaway with one double bedroom) . All offer 4* comfort and luxury.

Amblers Rest is accessed by a few external steps from the lower ground level, is gas centrally heated and comprises:

Small Dining area

Bedroom 1: Master double with king size bed and luxury fully fitted en-suite shower room with hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Bedroom  2: Twin with pine furnishings.

Shower room: With hand basin, vanity unit, heated towel rail, WC and washer/dryer.

There is a separate external entrance to all the apartments, but an internal access between Amblers Rest and Gable End can be made available when catering for parties of up to 8 people.
