Acorn Lodge Cottage has gas central heating and comprises:

Dining/lounge: With freesat TV(This is SKY free view), DVD, CD radio and open fire (fuel not provided).

Kitchen: With electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave.

Utility/drying room: With washing machine and hanging space for walking gear.

Cloakroom: With W.C.

There is a tumble drier in the garage.

First floor

Bedroom 1:  Master bedroom with king size bed.

Bedroom 2: With double bed.

Bedroom 3: With twin beds.

Bedroom 4: With single bed.

Bathroom: With bath, shower cubicle, W.C. and wash basin.

Facilities

All electric, gas and bed linen provided. Fuel for open fire not provided. Cot available. Broadband internet access available.

One well behaved pet is welcome but they must be kept in kitchen only.

Outside: Patio style garden with seating. (Please note the neighbours have right of access through the garden) Garage for storing bikes and parking for 1 car.

About the local area

Keswick is overlooked by spectacular scenery including the towering Skiddaw and Lonscale Fell to the north and Derwentwater a stones throw away to the south, in the heart of the Northern Lakes.

The market town gained its original charter in 1276 and although small it now forms the hub of the Northern Lake District. Keswick has great character with its well tended appearance (Winning several national awards); two large parks close to the town centre, speciality, gift and outdoor shops and a range of outdoor and indoor attractions.

Close by is the 4000 year old Castlerigg Stone Circle and the shores of Derwentwater are a mere stroll away past the Theatre by the Lake. During the summer months visitors can enjoy a free minibus service run by the National Trust from Keswick linking into round trips to Buttermere.

Keswick is a great base for a holiday in the Lake District with plenty of facilities close at hand but in the midst of beautiful north Lakeland countryside.
