Unique to Cumbrian Cottages is our ability to provide complete property management and maintenance services tailored to our owners needs in most parts of Cumbria and the Lake District.

We certainly do not mean giving you the telephone number of a cleaner and leaving you stranded! That’s not a managed service in our eyes.
Our services are far reaching not only for you, the owner and your property but for the holidaymaker throughout their stay.

Through our High street locations, we can offer:

Part Management Services

We would usually hold your keys and advise your cleaner of bookings, any other services would be charged accordingly, eg arranging repairs

Full Management Service

We take control of the physical cottage letting process, providing the cleaners who will access your property to carry out every changeover, including laundering of the bed linen. In addition our team of full time housekeepers regularly visit your property and inspect the cleaning and property. This is a close relationship we like to foster between our owner and dedicated caretaker responsible for looking after their property.

We deal with all aspects of paying, on your behalf, for cleaning services provided and any incurred incidental costs, like light bulbs etc, this is charged to your monthly statement. We pro-actively deal with repairs and ensure the cottage is well looked after, we also provide an emergency telephone line out of hours for all our guests.

Maintenance Service & Property Refurbishment

Our full time maintenance team can cover all aspects of your property. We provide a fast efficient service to you and holidaymakers, keeping your cottage open for bookings and far quicker and cheaper than employing local tradesmen.

We can provide estimates for decorating, gardening services or even renovation work which we often ‘project manage’ for our owners using all our contacts with builders and skilled trades operating locally in the region.
