Enjoy a gentle trot through one of the many traditional Lakeland villages or test yourself and your horse on an exhilarating hack up a challenging peak. Where ever you decide to ride you will no doubt be able to enjoy panoramic views of lakes, fells and valleys full of flora and fauna.

There are many areas to explore which are suitable for you and your horse including The Pennine Bridleway, The Eden Valley Loops, Mallerstang valley and Wild Boar Fell.

There are also many riding centres offering you and your family a half day or whole day out on the fells with a horse specially suited to your needs.

Leacett Cottage Riding Stables
