Brockhole Visitors Centre

Located right on the shores of Lake Windermere in the heart of the Lake District Brockhole provides an excellent place to learn more about The Lakes in a stunning setting. The magnificent house is set in thirty two acres of landscaped gardens and grounds which stretch right to the shores of the lake. Here you can discover interactive exhibitions, adventure playground, a great gift shop and family café.

St Martins Church

This impressive parish church was built in 1483 and comprises of an outstanding east window, statue of St Martin and marble reredos by Paley and Austin. The church is open to visitors on Wednesdays, Thursday mornings.
