Huntingstile Lodge, a former gardener's cottage and built around 1870, is accessed down a private driveway and commands possibly THE best view of Grasmere Water and her surroundings fells from both inside the house and from her mature grounds. Here guests have the chance to enjoy their own little bit of Lakeland. From Huntingstile Crag, ramblers can take in the grand vista of 5 major lakes and tarns and glorious sunsets over the Langdales or simply wander through the ground and perch on one of the many strategically placed benches until the sun goes down.
