Overlooking the village of Coniston is the beautiful fell known as the ‘Old Man of Coniston'. A part of the Furness Fells, this summit is over 800 metres high and is interesting to the eye with evidence mining that was done here years ago.

Hodbarrow RSPB Reserve
Located on the shores close to Millom this nature reserve has a large number of wading birds including the once almost extinct great crested grebe. Stroll along the nature trail or spot seals along the estuary.
This crag is mainly made of clean fast drying rock. Here you can enjoy some classic routes in a stunning location.
