Grange is an elegant town, with a long, sweeping promenade fronting the Bay, lined with antique and collectors shops and cafes. Cartmel famous for it’s Priory and race meetings is well worth a visit, if only to sample the local sticky toffee pudding. Allithwaite is a short drive from both Grange and Cartmel and is only about seven miles from the southern tip of Lake Windermere with easy access to the higher fells. Fairview, an end terrace cottage, has been completely renovated to provide exceptional levels of comfort. The accommodation is set out over three floors. The enclosed garden is reached from the lower ground floor, just the spot to enjoy eating ’al fresco’ in the warm summer months.

Living room: From the dining room there is direct access to living room with wood burning stove, comfortable seating, reading area, TV, DVD player and music system with radio, CD and tape player.

Utility room: Off the kitchen with freezer, washing machine and dryer.
Cloakroom: with WC and hand basin.
Bedroom 1: With king size bed and en-suite with shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds and en-suite with mixer shower over bath, hand basin and WC.
Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Sorry, no cot available.
Back garden has shared access with the neighbour, neatly arranged patio and garden furniture. Roadside parking available just outside the cottage.
Please note: Due to the steepness of the staircases, we feel this property is not suitable for the elderly, infirm, or children under 10 years of age. Although this is a non pet property, it is not suitable for people with allergies, as the owner takes their own pet.
