Description
In the heart of bustling Bowness, Admiral's Nest is the ideal choice for those wishing to have all the attractions of this popular resort within striking distance. There are some excellent walks which start close by to Admiral's Nest, including the famous Dale Way, whilst the Windermere ferry, carrying cars and passengers to the other side of the lake, will enable visitors to explore Hawkshead, Coniston and Beatrix Potter's home at Sawrey, Miss Potter recently the subject of a Hollywood blockbuster.
A second floor apartment, particularly suitable for two couples, the accommodation is comfortable and well furnished with some delightful accessories, of a nautical theme. The patio is a real suntrap and the perfect spot for an aperitif before sampling one of the many restaurants on hand, including the one below the apartment, the Villa Positano.

Admiral's Nest is on the second floor, has gas central heating and comprises:
Entrance into open plan living area with...
Lounge area: with deep cushioned corner sofa, TV and DVD.
Kitchen/dining area: With electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment and microwave.
Bathroom: Shower over bath, hand basin and W.C.
Bedroom 1: With double bed and en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, hand basin and W.C.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds.
A washer/dryer is housed just off the en suite shower room.
Facilities
All gas, electric and bed linen included. Sorry no cot available as we do not feel the property is suitable for young children as the patio is tiered..

Outside: Patio with furniture provided. (please note the patio is unfenced). Parking permit is provided which can be used on a number of car parks in the area.

About the local area
Bowness-on-Windermere is one of the most popular locations in the Lake District. Situated midway down Lake Windermere, a long promenade skirts the lake with views over a busy harbour where pleasure cruisers arrive and depart taking visitors up and down the lake.
The town has a vibrant, bustling atmosphere, especially in the summer months and a superb lakeside setting with lovely views across and down the lake. A car ferry runs to the far side of the lake taking visitors to Sawrey and Hawkshead or you can take a trip on one of the steamers north to Ambleside or south to Lakeside.
There is plenty to see and do including the Beatrix Potter Exhibition and Steamboat Museum, as well as an 18 hole ‘pitch and put’ and sailing marinas. Bowness provides a good selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants as well as a wide range of shops, all within easy reach.
