Trotters World of Adventures

Situated on the outskirts of Bassenthwaite Lake, this brilliant animal attraction is a great day out for all no matter what your age! There is a great variety of unusual animals from Canadian Lynx to Asian Otters as well as a large variety of birds and reptiles to see and learn about.

Amazing flying displays are frequently on here and are a great way to learn more about these amazing birds as well as seeing them in action. Vultures, Falcons and Owls are just some of the spectacular birds you can see. If you are wanting to get hands on with some of the creatures, it is worth going to one of the demonstrations where you are encouraged to get close up to the animals. Just look out for the when the audience participation events are on throughout the day.

Trotters World of Animals is also a great place to find play areas and activities for the children, resulting in a great fun-filled day out for all with picnic areas surrounding by lovely scenery for you to take a much needed lunchtime rest from all the excitement!
