The World of Beatrix Potter

The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction in Bowness on Windermere, takes you on a journey through the life and work of Beatrix Potter. This special journey has six parts with each one informing you in a fun and creative way about the life of Potter and her characters. Enjoy a short film, visit Mr Tod’s underground home or take a look around the cottage and kitchen gardens of the Peter Rabbit Tales.

The attraction also features an award winning Tea Room where you can sample local produce from the Kitchen Garden of Peter Rabbit. The Beatrix Potter Tea Room is an ideal place to unwind after your visit with a selection of light nutritious lunch, tasty cakes and a great range locally created teas.

And if all that’s not enough there are events held throughout the year including The Great Peter Rabbit Easter Hunt, Peter Rabbit Day and Tea with Mrs Tiggy Winkle!!
